God’s Plan of Salvation

Are You Saved?  Are you unsure? Follow this checklist to see if you have obeyed the gospel God’s way.

1.  You must hear/listen to God’s Word to be saved. “Faith comes by hearing and         hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).

2.  You must believe/have faith in Jesus Christ. “Unless you believe that I am He, you will surely die in your sins” (John 8:24).

3.  You must repent of sinful things that you have in your life. “Unless you repent you shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3).

4.  You must confess Jesus as the Lord and Master of your life. “With the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:10; See Matt. 10:32-33).

5.  You must be baptized for the remission of your sins.  “Repent and be baptized every one of you for the remission of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38; See Mark 16:16; Acts 22:16; 1 Peter 3:21).
