  • Isaiah, the Prophet


  • The Name Isaiah means “salvation”.
  • Isaiah began to prophecy in 759 B. C. in the last year of Uzziah.
  • Isaiah’s wife was a prophetess (8:3).
  • Some Jewish history records that Isaiah was placed in a log & sawn into (Heb. 11:37).
