“Power in the Blood”
Introduction:
A.
The sight of blood affects each of us differently
1. Some might become faint
2. Some might feel sick.
3. Some might be entertained due to the
desensitization of TV
4. Some would be reminded of war.
5. Others would be reminded of the death of
family or friends.
B.
In the Bible blood has a very important role.

C. This
morning I want us to notice why the blood of Jesus is so important in
Scripture.
I. Christians are Blood bought (Acts 20:28).
II. Christians are
Blood Redeemed (Col. 1:14, Eph. 1:7; 1 Peter 1:19)
III. Christians are
Cleansed by Blood (Rev. 1:5; Heb. 9:14; Rev. 7:14).
IV. Christians are
Forgiven by the Blood of Jesus (Rom. 3:25; 5:9; Heb. 9:22; 10:4; Heb. 13:12).
